Frederic Ponzo, Managing Partner, Grey Spark Partners, has been selected as part of the inaugural FN 40 Under 40 Rising Stars of Trading and Technology, Financial News’ editorial pick of the brightest up-and-coming men and women in the industry.
He joins a list of those individuals that are actively shaping the trading and technology landscape, including brokers, trader develop strategy for the new regulatory landscape.
Financial News canvassed the market for opinion and drew up a long-list of more than 100 potential rising stars. Candidates were then assessed by the publication’s editorial panel on four criteria: achievements to date given their age, the stature of their mentors, firepower at their disposal and their potential to reach a position of great influence.
Particular emphasis was drawn to the creation of GreySpark’s research arm – Capital Markets Intelligence – which focuses on ecommerce, electronic trading and the impact of regulation, including Mifid.
