Description
Periodic Regulatory Reporting Solutions are used by financial institutions to adhere to regulations that require reporting, either to regulators or publicly, on a periodic basis (non-real / near-real-time).
A cohort of vendors have been assessed across four main categories of Periodic Regulatory Reporting:
- Risk & Capital Reporting: submitted, predominantly by banks, based on the risk inherent within their lending books and their assets held.
- Financial Reporting: Financial status reporting, as for other corporate firms, but may be subject to specific accounting practices for financial firms.
- Tax Reporting: Reporting on the tax implications of their business activities, either on their own business or their clients.
- Statutory Reporting: submitted based on regulations targeted at specific structural aspects of financial services, typically implemented at a national level post-2008.
