Intelligent automation solutions can assist CIBs in addressing the historic regulatory requirements to report data in templates, providing data sorted and aggregated according to given criteria and delivered according to a set frequency. Intelligent automation solutions can also be used by CIBs to standardise data models and for data processing logic purposes.
To elucidate the differentiating factors between the six sellside intelligent automation solutions surveyed for this report, a detailed analysis of the KPCs of all the solutions is presented both individually and in aggregate. The analysis incorporates data points garnered from each vendor that enabled GreySpark to draw out the strengths and weaknesses across the surveyed solutions set.
The findings of the analysis support GreySpark’s belief that, in 2022, intelligent automation solution competitive differentiation for sellside institution users is defined by:
- Breadth of Functional Capability – Spanning enterprise data automation, robotic process automation and enterprise process automation components / modules;
- Customisation & Integration – That is, low-code / no-code capabilities, and general and specific deployment and integration options; and
- Total Cost of Ownership – Specifically, an assessment of expected Capex, Opex, maintenance costs and vendor-provided professional services fees.
This report, then, reviews the findings of a survey of the following intelligent automation solutions:
- Appian Corp The Appian Platform;
- Duco Technology The Duco Platform, Duco Alpha component / module;
- Kofax Inc The Kofax Intelligent Automation Platform;
- LatentBridge albai;
- UiPath The UiPath Platform, Studio & StudioX component / modules; and
- Xceptor The Xceptor Platform.
