LONDON, 17 June 2010 – GreySpark Partners, a London-based business, management and technology consultancy specialising in capital markets, today announced the appointment of Jamie Lake to managing consultant, where he will develop the Investment Banking Operations team, as the firm continues to grow and expand its full service capabilities. Lake reports in to Bradley Wood, partner.
Lake joins GreySpark after five years at Goldman Sachs in various senior positions. Most recently, he was executive director; responsible for new business and industry initiatives affecting the collateral department. Earlier in his tenure he managed the exotics team within the OTC cross product collateral management group. Prior to Goldman, Lake was a senior associate with Morgan Stanley covering OTC equity derivatives. Before this, he set up and managed his own consulting practice that restructured middle office operations within major financial institutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Previously, Lake began his career as a research analyst with Okasan International. He has personally advised several of the world’s leading finance houses including Merrill Lynch, Nomura and Commerzbank IB Ag. Lake has an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, N.C.
